Growing up, I was blessed to have an Italian grandmother who loved being in the kitchen. My grandmother was a wise, humble and loving woman, who taught me the secrets of our roots through cooking and baking. She believed in delivering delicious authentic food to her family and loved ones daily. Some of my fondest childhood memories were with her in the kitchen creating, laughing and learning the art of food. This precedent is the foundation of my deep love for both cooking and baking.
Working in the restaurant industry for over 25 years has been a true pleasure. I've been humbled and inspired by the talented chefs and people I've worked with, who have shared their cultures and art with me. Anyone in this industry understands the time, dedication, and commitment required to deliver an exceptional experience.
My children and I love spending time together in the kitchen, and teaching them the values and traditions of our roots has been incredibly rewarding. Their favorite sweet to bake with me is my famous Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies—a perfect blend of dark chocolate, salty, sweet, and gooey. After baking these and other sweets for family and friends for a year, I decided to start my own business. Salted Little Sweets was born from one key value: delivering happiness in every bite. Our goal is to sprinkle a little sweet and salty joy from our kitchen to yours.
